Race-Trax software is derived from Nav-Trax, a GPS-based, military, mobile platform tracking aid developed throughout 1999 -2001 and still in daily use by Navies all around the world.

But Race-Trax offers so much more than tracking. Race-Trax has focused on complete event management solutions specifically for sail racing at the highest level.

When winning or losing comes down to 10th or 100th of a second, standard off the shelf tracking systems simply can´t measure up to the job. The Race-Trax system offers

sub ½ meter accuracy,
20 times per second update rates,
a large secure onboard data log,
inbuilt heading pitch and roll sensors,
wind sensor connectivity
free-to-use 15(+)Km UHF telemetry modules

Race-Trax provides users with (selectable) repeatable system accuracies of up to and better than 2cm. It uses either solution-generated local differential data or externally produced (EGNOS, Galileo or WAAS) data to do this.

The Race-Trax solution can broadcast second by second competitor, safety boat, mark and wind data simultaneously to the Committee Boat, to the Race Office, to the Web, to TV and a multitude of other on-site and remote broadcast media teams.

Race-Trax´s dedicated staff, all sailors themselves, have full technical knowledge of the solution and are available to discuss any aspect of the Race-Trax products. They will also be on hand throughout your decision-making process, helping to tailor the solution to meet your needs.
