Race-Trax enhances event safety by making available a list of all competitors at the start line and displaying competitor locations (by sail number or helm name etc.) at all times - even those who may decide to retire early or not to venture out.

Additionally, through use of the AIS module all AIS equipped commercial shipping data may be overlaid enabling Race Officers to change a course layout to suit commercial arrivals and departures during the course of the race. Naturally, any local Port Authority or Harbour Master will be able to make use of the same data via the web-based Race-Viewer.
