The beautiful city of Venice hosted the opening round of the the iShares Cup Extreme 40 Sailing Series. Ten teams raced 40 foot catamarans on short and demanding courses just meters from the shore. Olympians, World Champions and America's Cup sailors battled it out in Europe's leading sailing circuit.

All the action took place between 15-17 May with racing each afternoon between 14h30 and 17h30.

Race-Trax tracked the boats every day and provided valuable information to race management and organisers.
