Throughout system development Race-Trax have used a modular approach enabling the solution to be customised to meet almost any demand placed upon it.

Race-Trax offers four `standard´ packages

• Inshore Broadcast : for use on inland and enclosed waters.
• Inshore Race Management and Broadcast : enables race control from the committee boat.
• Inshore Race Management and full Event Management : enables race control from the committee boat and full access to all race data a shore.
• Coastal GPRS : enables race control and management of those longer distance coastal racing events.
  

A Full range of solutions

The Race-Trax solution is unique in that it combines hardware, PC application software and server-side software into one, simple to use modular and flexible solution.

Regardless of available budget a package can be tailored to suit;

• the `entry level´ option of Logging Only means that many events not normally considered as LIVE! tracking candidates or those with smaller budgets could be considered for media coverage. Full race data gathered during the event using the Logging Only option could be made available for later broadcast and commentary in highlight or magazine show format. This enables a wider spread of quality coverage on a much greater number and range of events thereby building awareness and participation from a broader audience for a very modest cost.
• at club level events Race-Trax can operate simply on the committee boat and ashore in the club house - all with no on-cost / free-to use UHF telemetry.
• at a local level event, where web graphics are seen as advantageous, 2D data may be fed LIVE! direct to the club´s web-site.
• at a national level event, where local `race village´ graphics are required along with club web-site capability, data may be linked to local large screens and to the club´s web-site.
• at international level events, data may be fed to both the Race-Viewer 2D graphics engines, external 3D graphics providers, multiple media and broadcast teams and, all the while, providing LIVE! on-the-water competitor safety and course layout information to the PRO and his team.
