Timing and results
The Race-Trax system generates an instant list of competing boats, mark rounding and finish times and LIVE! positions, helping to reduce the on-board timekeepers´ and Results Office personnel workload. This data can be broadcast to the shore for the LIVE! display of provisional results in the race or press office or on screens around the venue.
This image shows a race 9 minutes 23 seconds after the Start Gun.
- The Committee Boat is displaying Wind data - blue vector on 112´ @ 14.3Kn.
- The competitors are at the end of Leg2 and rounding the Leeward Mark.
- The Race Data pop-up window displays Race Results - Start Times, OCS data, First Mark rounding & Finish times and Competitor / Overview information.
- All mark rounding positions and times are also displayed - in this case GBR0016 (tracker 04) crossed the Start Line in 8th position @ 13:15:04 (4 seconds after the Start Gun) and rounded the first mark (Windward) @ 13:20:55 having gained two positions to 6th place - just behind ESP0019 (tracker 06).

This image shows a race 18 minutes 36 seconds after the Start Gun.
- The Race Data pop-up is displaying `Overview´ data.
- The Start Line, OCS, 1st Mark, Finish and Competitor tabs, like this Overview tab, have user input enabled. Effectively, this means that whilst all text data is auto generated by Race-Trax all data may be cut, copied, pasted, amended and / or added to before it is saved and / or transmitted back to the shore-side Event Management, Media and Broadcast Teams.
